Checkland's Soft Systems Methodology (SSM)

This document outlines the background of SSM and discusses the key features of SSM, and the role of SSM in Requirements Engineering. The document then presents the major phases of SSM. Exercises developed for a class presentation are presented and discussed, together with results from the class presentation. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of SSM are presented, as well as a comparison of SSM to other Requirements Engineering techniques.
